Amendments
The Build Amendments module is one of the stamping modules
and allows for the creation of amendments to by used in the Amend/Enroll
module. As with some of the other
stamping modules, amendments are initially created in draft mode and
subsequently released. When an amendment
is created, it is assigned an order of business. In addition to being created in this module,
amendments created in external applications can be imported and saved in
xmLegislator. Any number of amendments
can be created for a Bill/Resolution. Other amended versions of
Bill/Resolutions, i.e., substitutes can also be imported into xmLegislator via
the Build Amendments module.
