Video Captioning
With the increase in the number of video recorded meetings at all levels of local and state government there has been an increasing need to provide Video Captioning for the hearing impaired. In the spring of 2008 IRC will be able to provide to clients a software solutions which supports what is been termed “echoing”. Echoing is the method used to record the remarks made in the meeting converted to text for video captioning and to give users the ability to search recorded text to access the video when the event occurred. This recorded text will also support the printing of transcripts of the meeting.
