Presiding Officer's System

The Presiding Officer’s System is typically designed for a large flat touchscreen monitor(s) to meet the needs of the software functionality as well as the size of the legislative body. The screen is completely configurable by the user. Normally the presiding officer prefers to see a layout of the members’ desks, a replication of the display board information and vote totals.

When voting is in progress, each member's name can appear on the monitor in a color indicating their vote - Green for YEA, Red for NAY and White for not voting. The monitor can also display the running totals while the vote is open.
