Summoning
The Presiding Officer’s screen can be provided with a
summoning feature. The summoning system will have control buttons on the
monitor which allows the Presiding Officer to summon any member to the podium
by touching the member's name. When a member has been called to the front,
their Summon light will begin to blink or an alternate indicator, which
notifies the member of the summons. Control buttons are also provided on the
monitor to clear all summons.
Other configuration settings include giving the ability to
view the vote in process in different sorting methods, a page button can be
applied to allow the Presiding Office to request a page, debate timer buttons
are available, the Presiding Officers voting button can be added to the screen
and buttons can be applied to open and close the vote, etc.
